Ordering Times

Cakes are made on a first-come, first-served basis, therefore we urge you to order your cake as far in advance as possible to avoid disappointment. For wedding cakes involving fruit cake, a minimum of 3 months notice is required so that the cake can mature. For celebration cakes, a minimum of 3 weeks notice is required.

Cake Stands and Knives

We have a number of cake stands and a cake knife for hire, if you require them. We have also recently acquired a beautiful traditional silver plated cake stand which is also available to hire. Please contact us for details.

The portion values are approximate and are calculated based on a 1" square portion size for fruit cake and a 2 x 1" portion size for sponge cake. If your ideal cake design doesn't provide you with enough portions for your guests, don't worry. We can provide cutting cakes to ensure you have enough cake for everyone.

Cakes Types and Fillings

Cakes can be made with rich fruit cake, maderia sponge, lemon sponge or chocolate sponge. Sponge cakes can be filled with vanilla, lemon or chocolate flavoured buttercream and fruit cakes will be layered with marzipan before icing.

Prices

We believe that every cake we create is unique to each of our customers, therefore we price your cake depending on the type of cake, size and decoration you want. Please contact us to discuss your requirements and we can provide you with a personal price.

Delivery

Cakes can be picked up or delivered to the venue or address of your choice. Please contact us for details.
